Acceptable Use

Last updated 10 August 2026

In short: Do not make ads that are illegal, deceptive, or pretend to be someone they are not. Some categories are banned outright, others need proof before you run them.

1.Flatly not allowed

You may not use the store to produce, or list templates for, any of the following:

  • Anything illegal where the ad will run.
  • Weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, or products designed to bypass drug testing.
  • Sexual content, sexual services, or anything sexualising minors.
  • Counterfeit goods, or anything that infringes someone else's trademark or copyright.
  • Scams, fake giveaways, pyramid and matrix schemes, and get-rich-quick offers.
  • Malware, credential harvesting, or ads leading to deceptive download pages.
  • Content that harasses, degrades or incites violence against people for who they are.
  • Political, electoral or issue advertising. We have no verification process for it, so do not run it here.

2.Impersonation and likeness

Because these ads are AI-generated, this deserves its own section. You may not generate a person who is recognisably a real individual without their written consent, and you may not present an AI-generated person as a genuine customer giving a real testimonial when no such customer exists.

You may not impersonate a brand, a public figure, a doctor, a regulator, or a news outlet. A presenter styled to look authoritative must not claim credentials they do not have.

3.Categories you may advertise, but carefully

These are not banned, but the claims you make in them are what get accounts shut down. You are responsible for having evidence before you run them:

  • Supplements and health products. No claims to treat, cure or prevent disease. Before-and-after imagery must reflect a genuine, typical result.
  • Skincare and cosmetics. Results shown must be achievable by the product alone, without undisclosed retouching.
  • Weight loss and fitness. No guaranteed outcomes, no body shaming, no targeting minors.
  • Finance, credit and crypto. Include the risk disclosures your regulator requires. No guaranteed returns.
  • Alcohol, gambling and dating. Age-gate them and follow local restrictions.

4.Honest claims

Prices, discounts, urgency and stock levels in your ad have to be real. A countdown that resets forever, a strike-through price that was never charged, or a scarcity claim you made up are all deceptive advertising, and are not made acceptable by a template suggesting the format.

Testimonials must come from real customers. If you use a paid creator or an AI presenter, disclose it the way your platform and local advertising rules require.

5.What happens if you break this

Depending on severity we may remove the ad or listing, suspend rendering, close the account, or report the matter where the law requires it. Serious cases get no warning.

To report something on the store that breaks this policy, use the contact route published on this site with a link and a description. Rights holders reporting infringement should include proof of ownership.

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and the Creator Agreement.
